Driver Downloads

Here's a catch22 if ever ..... every site I've visited to get a full set of drivers for my old Toshiba Satellite A105-S4094 wants me to download their driver scanner/auto-installer software. While this is no doubt a great utility to have, they assume that I'm able to connect to the internet .... Without the drivers, especially those required for the network communications stuff, I can't do squat.

I obviously do have another system that is connected so I can down load them here, then transport them to my lappie. Problem is, where do I get them?

Seems I'm still missing one piece of the puzzle. My lappie doesn't recognize or show any of the wireless networks in my home. I use VerizonFIOS here at home and generally I see our home net plus two of the neighbors. My wife's wireless laptop is online, My big DELL desktop is hardwired and online but the Toshiba is up and running but doesn't see the network. I just finished rebuilding this thing because it lost it's 120Gb internal HD. I replaced it with a 250Gb Seagate from Office Depot. Everything is working except the network and I need that to get the remainder of the Windows XP updates.

Any guesses?

 

Do you have any errors in Device Manager?

 

Had 1 under Other for Mass Storage ..... it's fixed now. I also missed one of the network drivers and installed the Hot Keys driver. All is well and I've got it downloading and installing the latest windows software now.
