Driver for digital recorder?

I have a new RCA (RP5030) digital recorder and want to download files to my hard drive. The instructions say to plug it in (USB cable included) and start dragging and dropping. However everytime I try to connect it, Ol' Sleepy wants me to find a driver for it. It didn't come with a CD and installing software/drivers is not mentioned in the user manual. I have tried several different approaches, connecting while the (desktop) computer is off and then booting up, and also connecting while the computer is already operational. Same result. I am still running Windows 98SE.

Suggestions? Thanks for the assist -

Downloaded and installed the app and drivers in the link you suggested but it didn't help. When I connect the voice recorder, my computer still wants to find a driver for it and it didn't like the folder I pointed at. My inclination is that this isn't really a driver issue, if I needed a driver RCA would have provided it with the purchase. Something odd going on here...

    Thanks for the help.
