Driver for Laptop battery?

    I don't see anywhere on the EBay site where it says it needs a driver. This $300 laptop you bought is turning out to be a little more expensive than you thought, isn't it?

    No laptop battery needs an OS driver that I know of.

    Either the battery "talks" to the BIOS which goes to the OS as part of the "system devices" which do not need drivers, or the battery does not "talk" to the computer at all.
