Driver for webcam SN9C103, Windows 2000

Hi

I have a webcam which works fine on my XP lappy where a windows driver installed itself. I want to install it on a Windows 2000 desktop.

The model of the camera is SN9C103 on the leaflet that came with it, I think this is the chip rather than the whole thing(?). There is no named manufacturer.

The driver CD is missing and neither Win2000 or windows update will find one for it. Searching the web I find lots of references to the SN9C103 but some looked distinctly dodgy and then I came across a post on this site linking some driver for the SN9C103 to some very nasty malware.

Can anyone please suggest a safe source for a driver for this camera?
