    HI

Personally I would not use either as none of these driver finder apps IMHO ever find the correct drivers at times, and why.... the fact is that there are too many driver variations to take into account as many OEM makers as in Dell, HP, ACER etc customise the hardware they use, especially the audio, and the driver finder apps only generally find the generic driver and thats not always the best driver or actually works, in many cases we notice here that driver issues do arise from using these apps.

Best route is to download drivers from your original makers site for your PC model if its an OEM PC as in Dell, HP, ACER etc or if you have custom built a PC then from the motherboard maker for all the hardware on the mobo, and then the makers for graphics etc

The main thing with drivers is that if they are working ok, dont update as many updates are not needed IF the original maker has not issued them, the driver apps show you drivers you may not need.

The only drivers I ever update from an original build are Graphics and Network (graphics as have a high end card GTX570 Nvidia)

So personally if your PC is working OK, dont touch drivers.

You don't need that crap man, if it ain't broke then don't fix it. If you do think a driver needs updating then check the change log first to see if your issue was addressed. Not all updates are good and could actually hurt your machine.

Uninstall the drivers in safe mode first, reboot, and then re-install the downloaded ones starting with the chipset drivers. I don't know Acer stuff so I'll have to bow out of here. Follow David's lead.
