driver issues again :\

    I need to download two drivers for a machine that was recently reformatted. get the yellow question marks under the devices meaning obviously a driver needs to be installed for it. I've gone to the PCI Database but every search I do brings up no results, am I not inputing the propper string in the search?

    It's all on-board so I updated the chipset drivers but that didn't help :\

    Hi

    What is the PC make and model or motherboard make and model as both those codes link to Intel VGA and Ethernet (I could give you random drivers for both but thats not always best as this seems to be a OEM build PC so the model and make would be better), but it maybe easier to find the drivers for PC model or motherboard specific to start with?

    If OS is XP then the below

    If Vista Win7 then below

    Thanks Dave,

    turns out I was in fact typing in the wrong info under the pci database site and was able o find the propper drivers for the intel board. Thought it was weird that the intel update utility didn't detect the remaining 2 unknown devices seing as they were on-board with the intel chipset.

    Hi Thomas

    Cheers for the update and yeah not hard to type the wrong data in searches at time, so best to if not already doing so type or CnP the bottom figure in a Hardware Ids box as thats the one normally that will find a device.
