driver issues as per pcsleek error tool, MSVCP.DLL, etc. missing

Help! :cry I am finding problems that must be associated with spyware and/or trojan activity on my system. pcsleek.com's error cleaner tool seems to work great at finding my errors but it repairs the problems to a certain point and the error pop-up=a non-existing ndishlp.sys file and the repair gets stuck while reviewing various files (latest stick at c:\$bootcln.sch.) There are 3 driver problems showing as high risk and a startup problem showing medium risk. At normal startup error pop-up=MSVCP60.DLL not found. I am (yes, still!) running a limping windows 98 on an old compaq presario. My printer driver pops up as not installed when I try to scan but it prints fine. When I activate the caps lock key there is a thumping static sound that leads me to think there may be a sound driver issue. I am utterly at the mercy of this damned machine and it is all I have and can afford, please help me fix it!

Hey! Thanks so much for your response. I am in the process of printing out all of those instructions and beginning the process. You mentioned that I should do this and start a new thread in the malware forum with attached logs. I am guessing that I can save the various logs after I run those programs easily, save them to a doc file and past this I need a few instuctions to make sure I do it right. 1)what should I title the thread? 2)how do I attach said files?
The instructions are very helpful (looking) but it looks like a full days work is ahead of me! I sincerely hope I can do all of this successfully. Thanks again!
