Driver needed for samsung CDRW/DVD SM-352F

Evening everyone,

Does anyone know where I can locate a driver for samsung CDRW/DVD SM-352F?

As I really need it and haven't been able to watch DVD's since I reformatted this computer over a year ago... I have had help from you before and you were massive help, so if anyone could locate where the driver was, I would be grateful.

Is it still detecting the DVD in the CD rom.:confused

 

When I insert a DVD, it recognises the dvd and it's contents but just won't play it.

Windows media says Windows Media Player can't play DVD.
If I insert a game, it will work but not a DVD.

Ok then it sounds like you do not have the right codec then.

Download and install bottom link.
http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/cccp_(combined_community_codec_pack).html

This will allow you to play DVDs on Windows media player.Uninstall K light codec pack if you got it or any other ones.

 

There aint no CDRW/DVD that needs a driver.
When you reformatted you lost the codec to play DVDs.
You dont need no driver.
You need to get the codec.

If you get "Media Player Classic - Home Cinema" it will play your DVDs.
"MPC-HC"
