driver toshiba satellite spa40

    Hi all, I'm new here. I'm looking for drivers to a discontinued laptop from Toshiba

    I'm looking for Windows XP PRO-Sp3 drivers for
    Toshiba Satellite SPA40

    I managed to get the video card and LAN working with Intel drivers but I'm stuck on the audio and modem ...

    Hi

    What yellow ! marks do you have in device manager? please name all.


    But try this install the Intel Chipset driver HERE and reboot (inportant to reboot to fully install the Chipset driver), then install the Audio driver from HERE

    The modem driver from HERE should work, but if you are on broadband and dont use Dialup then I would just disable that driver as its not needed.

    You may need to manually install the Audio and Modem drivers via Device Manager and this all you do is to click Update and start the Driver Wizard then choose Dont search I will choose the driver to install, then browse for th elocation of the unzipped folders above and follow the prompts.

    If you're unsure how to install drivers via the Device Manager as suggested by Halo above, a while back, I posted an illustrated guide on how to do this in Windows XP (Vista and Win7 are VERY similar). Check out this link, it explains it fairly well.....

    Hi, I managed to instal drivers for everything after searching for same devices on various other laptops from toshiba on their support site .. took a while but I got it done.
