Driver update- Ati Radeion

Hi. I am using Windows Vista 32 bit. I have the graphics card -Ati Radeon 1650 250mb. I know it's an older card but it has really worked for me. I know that Ati has moved most of there support to Legacy. I am not sure of which update to download because all I see is something called "driver detective". I don't want to have a virus. I read your post about driver update which contains the Catalyst control center, I already have that.
So where and which new driver should I have? Thank you

 

DO NOT install or download Driver Detective. It's a huge steaming pile of :crap and IMO is as close to a virus as you can get w/o actually being a true virus. If you have already installed Driver DeFective, remove it ASAP.

You can download the Radeon 1650 driver straight from ATI using this link. Click that link and the ATI download page will open. Scroll down a little bit to "Option 1" and you'll see the gray download button. Click it to start the download. The file is the full Catalyst suite with the complete driver included. It's a fairly large file at almost 90mb, so it may take some time depending on your internet connection. Once the download has completed, simply double-click the downloaded file to launch the installation process.

Thank you for you help. I already have thes. I was to knows if there is update to thes driver? I use Flightsim X. I try settings, make ajustment using control center, there is shimmering in game . I try to make different change, no change to much. That is why I wonder if new drive was released. Thank you much.
