Driver update program

    Is there any software's that finds the updates for all the programs installed in my computer and all the driver updates?

    Greetings and welcome to Majorgeeks!

    There are a few paid for programs that can determine what drivers are needed for your particular system.

    But, the best way is to check your motherboard/videocard's respective website to determine what has been updated.

    If ye have a large OEM branded machine, like DELL, HP, then ye need to check their website to see if something needs to be updated.

    Ya. we have a HP laptop. I have seen some softwares which scans all the programs and tells whether the latest version of that prg is available for download. I dont rem the name of that prg. Thats Y I asked ;)

    Don't worry neither did many others!


    What they ment to put in a legible manor was if you use this scan on your PC it will tell you what drivers have been updated, however it costs do download the drivers from them, with a little spare time just write down the drivers highlighted and search the manufacturers for the drivers, they have them for FREE.

    it however only does Device Drivers.


    For software..........

    Microsoft Udpate covers your OS and MS Office

    but the other software you haev installed, I dont think I've come across an all in one scanner for checking for updates for those.. too many variables, best to either search our front page http://www.majorgeeks.com/ for many softwares as these are always upto date or the good old fashioned way of clicking the updater in if peresent in your software or searching the makers website.
