When you unzip downloaded drivers, how do you know where to unzip them to? I found a couple of folders that say drivers, but how do you know which one to use? The driver I need is for a USB connection for my Yepp MP3 player.

Is there a setup exe or a msi file in the folder? It may auto-install with those.

If not, you should go to Hardware/Device Manager under My Computer/System Properties and check to see if the device you have the files for is listed with a yellow "!" mark. Right click, ask it to update drivers, and point to the folder thet you created with the driver files. From there, Windows should install the files.

When I opened the WinZip program there are about 30 files listed. Do I extract them all at the same time? Here is the link if you want to see the file:

When I use the CD that came with it I got a warning saying that the driver was not digitally signed and something to the effect that there could be problems now or in the future.

If you have the CD, and it's current, use it. Ignore the "not digitally signed" warning - that just means that the company hasn't paid Microsoft for the signature, not that they don't work.

If you want to use the downloaded drivers, tell Winzip to extract all to a named folder - the default name it gives is complicated (I just downloaded and checked the zip) - I would unzip it and change the folder name to something that makes sense, such as YP-N30S, the name of your player.

There is a setup.exe in the folder. Clicking on that should do the job for you. Follow the directions that the installer has, such as when to plug in the device, and such.

Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately this driver didn't work either. The same thing happened when I tried to use it. It caused the computer to shut down. There must be a conflict with my computer and this particular MP3 player.
