Drivers for ASUS A8m 2n-la

Hey Guys I am having the same problem as the first guy I have had this computer for 4 years now and ive put a different type of windows on it over 15 times,,,, i get bored allot. I put xp home back on it, and now it has sp3 and ive followed your instructions to the T and it still isint working i cant figure it out can somone please help. -.-

For best results, you should start a new thread instead of reviving one that's over a year old. yeah- I know you have the same problem, and the same hardware, but that's how we do things here at MG... a new problem + a new member = a new thread; or an old problem + a new member = a new thread; or a new... no wait... an old... no... well, you get the idea.....

BUT- since I'm here- uninstall your sound driver. Reboot. Cancel the Hardware Wizard if it opens. Install your chipset drivers. Reboot. Cancel the Hardware Wizard if it opens. Follow the steps in this thread to 'trick' Windows in to thinking you have SP2 and to install KB888111. Once you have finished the steps in that link, reinstall your sound drivers. If none of this works, start a new thread a provide a link to this one as a reference.
