Drivers / Software Needed for Sharp AL-1457D (Scanner Function/Features
Hi again, well we now have the Copier/Printer working but we also need to get the Scanner function working, the drivers required are seperate to the printer/copier drivers?.. Can anyone point me to a source for these Drivers?
Its the Sharp AL-1457D Machine. Also, info on how and where to put them on our PC (Win XP Pro)

Hi

Drivers for that model Printer for XP are HERE

Will need to unzip the file and then use Add Hardware in Control Panel, and click Add Hardware then click NEXT and it may scan for a while, thats no issue, just wait, then click Yes I have already connected the hardware then click Next > look down the list for the hardware name, if not found highlight "add new hardware device" and click Next > Install hardware manually from a list and click Next then click Sharp and then Have Disk and browse to the unzipped files you downloaded earlier and then click next and the driver should install.
