Driving in traffic

Spent a couple days in Chicago and the traffic DROVE me crazy,

My question is..... How do you handle driving in traffic???????

 

Stay alert, pay attention to the flow of traffic and blend with it, stay alert, be patient, stay alert...

Lived in Chicago and suburbs for 50 years before coming to the Memphis area. Chicago is more crowded, but Memphis drivers are scarier.

 

I drive a rebuilt ford escort with a 2.8 under the hood; but the body looks like trash.....and I love it......it makes everyone else AVOID me!

 

Get Job in suburbs!

I'd rather drive in chicago than LA or the Big Apple.

 

How do I drive in traffic? I find alternate routes.

Chicago really isn't that bad...you have the hope of changing lanes if you realize you're in the wrong one there. I wouldn't try that in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, or Boston.

 

Most important to handle driving is to keep both hands on the Steeringwheel, and keep straight following your destination.

 

Do the speed limit, or go with the flow.Plan your route ahead of time, see everything, assume nothing. I like the big city visits. I enjoy driving in traffic on occasion.
