   My friend just completed installing Windows 10 on her computer and is unable to play store-bought DVD's. Is there any free software or fixes to her problem?

   Install VLC because Win 10 does not include a program/app to play CDs and DVDs.

   Thank you plodr. She has a player already but the problem is that the DRM will not allow playback to begin. She's using VSO Media Player at present.
