DrvCareVista Part II

After unzipping the file to it's own folder and installing I get the following message when trying to run the program:

.NET FRAMEWORK INITIALIZATION ERROR
To run this application, you first must install one of the following versions of the .Net Framework: v2.0.50215. Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .Net Framework.

I searched and searched for any updates or newer versions of .Net F/w but was not able to find any. I thought I had the latest version installed because it hasn't been that long since I was prompted to get it......I think Google Earth required it.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You need the .NET Framework 2.0 Beta 2.

Although to me, it seems like a bad idea to use a beta back-end to software that does such invasive processes like defrag and antivirus.

 

If I had found the program any other place besides here (majorgeeks.com) I wouldn't even attempt to use such a program. Maybe it would be better to uninstall and just do everything like I used to.

I'm surprised that anyone actually developed and published a program that requires .netframework 2 beta in the first place! I have it on my computer, but the only reason I have it is for testing out Nomad (Windows Shell).

 

I'm not surprised they developed it, but quite surprised that it was published without an Alpha or Beta state attached. I'd never write and use a CMS for PHP5 until PHP5 is fully stable and recommended for use on a production server. But then thats me
