Hi.

The error I am recieving is as follows

DrWatson Postmortem Debugger has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something the information you were working on might be lost.

The steps to get to the error are these
1. Right click on the desktop
2. Select Properties
3. Select the desktop tab
4. Click on one of the pictures in the list.
5. Push the up error untill it freezes.

I did a google search that said the error might be from the acebot. But I run antivir personal with the latest definitions and a scan every night.

I also found this solution below
To unregister shmedia32.dll.
This worked only temporarily.

IF anybody could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Does it happen in Safe Mode?

 

Yes. The error does come up in safe mode.
