    :-o:-Good day:

I installed the DrWeb program and have had nothing but issues. I have attempted to uninstall, delete, and I keep getting unauthorized to access, delete, remove.

I have tried to change permissions unsuccessfully and I am at with wits end.

I also attempted a restore, but again failure.

I would be most grateful if one you gentlemen would provide assistance.

    Regards,

    Joyce

    :cry Good morning Plodr:

I downloaded the software AppRemover, but it did not remove the DrWeb software version 9.0.1.9230.

Thank you for this attempt, but what is the next solution.

    Regards,

    Joyce

FYI, do not trust any software to clean a windows registry, always back it up first.

    Good morning Kestrel13:

I have tried Revo uninstaller, HitmanPro, Wise Uninstaller, Unlock it, attempted to change my permissions as I keep getting message that I do not have permission to access these files.

    Please help.....

    Thanks for replying.

Caliban I don't need no steenkin' title!

    Greetings, cyberjoyce.

If Unlocker and the other tools don't work you might try re-installing the DrWeb program and then trying the uninstall routines again. Sometimes a program re-installation will overwrite corrupted files (some of which might be causing your current symptoms).

Using the original setup/exe for the program might be best, but if you don't have that then you can try the final version.

For curiosity's sake what issues did you have when DrWeb was running?

    Good morning Falconattack:

Thank you so very much for your suggestion to view DrWeb web site!

I followed your instructions and downloaded the uninstall software and removed all of the DrWeb files.

I was having issues with it as it blocked all the files I was downloading, i.e., Hijack This, Unlocker, Appremover, Rev uninstaller, etc.

I am very grateful to you for your advice.

    Warm regards,

    cyberjoyce:)
