DS2 problem

I have a problem when i played dungeon siege 2

during gameplay a error message appear

exception detected!
exception data
will take one or two minute

after the game crash and i have to start the game

can somebody can help me

ok, first off did you download the DS2 patch? do you have dx 9.0c, and your motherboard / windows xp / video card drivers newest updates?

 

i got all updated
all thing works fiine
but i always got exception error during game play

just now I have the same error message and crash as Lex, but it appeares when I try to continue the saved game in single player. So I cannot continue playing at all. It was my first restart of the game after applying the the latest patch on 10/04/2005. That day I played two hours and everything went fine. I have the latest drivers and XP updates applied.

Sytem info:
Shuttle SN41G2-V2
Athlon 3000+ 400Mhz FSB
1 GB RAM
GEFORCE 6800 GT

 

A lot of people are experiencing the same error.

There are several threads on the DS support forum for this matter, but nothing that has resolved it as yet.
