dsl speed help please

I have a westtel 7500 dsl modem/router combo through centurytel 6mbs internet speed but it just seems slow opening pages on yahoo is slow and laggy i hook my ps3 up to it its the same way laggy. it is this way no matter what laptop or operating system i use. is there a way i can speed this connection up? I have cat 5 line ran straight to the modem through one wall jack. my internet is just slow please help i live in texas close to denton

Those pings and speeds do appear to be very sluggish. I suggest contacting your ISP, have them check everything, especially since you're paying for a 6mbs service.
