I have run the full list of your recommended spyware removal, according to the Dec, 2001 posting by Major Attitude; "basic spyware, trojan and virus removal". This is on an XP-home system. Most were run in the safe mode, as you recommend.

Every time I run SypBot, I get "DSOExploit", delete it, but it comes back.

Can you recommend a permanent solution? I am running SpyBlaster.

If you are current with your windows updates, it isn't a problem. It is a bug in Spybot, you can go into settings and under the Ignore Products option , check the DSo exploit box.
