DSO exploit

I am having quite a time removing this thing .I have run spybot s&d several times and it identifies this and fixes it but the thing regenerates itself.S&D identifies the registery keys. If I go to the registery and delete these items will this fix my problem? I have a compac 5000 series with win xp home edition version 2002 ,intel celerom 1300 mhg. 256 ram. I just loaded service pac 2. Is there any thing else I can do ?

DSO Exploit is a bug in Spybot - If your updates are current, you may ignore it.

If you're fully up-to-date on Internet Explorer patches, you can safely ignore Spybot's report of a DSO Exploit. Update Spybot as well ... they have fixed the reporting problem.
