Dual Bios Question

I have a Gigabyte H77M-D3H that the BIOS just recently became corrupted. It sat for about a week until I found out how to run the backup BIOS to fix the BIOS that was corrupted.
My question is this, is it now running on the second bios or did the second bios fix the first one?
If it's the former, is there a way to get BIOS 1 working again?

It's a 1st build from about 6yrs ago.
16Gb Ram
Core i3 (1st gen) CPU
Windows 7&10
500Gb SSD

Once you kick-in the backup BIOS, it should re-flash the main BIOS for you, and resolve any corruption issues.

Here are a couple of tricks to try, in order to kick-start the backup BIOS on a Gigabyte Mobo.

 

I was hoping that it would correct the main, wasn't sure bcuz all my other pc's didn't have the dual bios. I did all the usual stuff I.E. taking the battery out, pushing power and reset ect. ect. Then searched the web and, of all places, youtube where he used Method 1 and it worked.
I was afraid I had trashed the mobo. Out of all the things to be afraid of in life, my motherboard should NOT be that high up the list lol.
