Dual-boot?

    How would I do dual boot XP and Vista? I currently run Vista, but my brother is heckling me about a game not working, so I have to go and dual boot XP. Do you guys need sustem info?

    Load the second operating system onto a seperate drive or partition. Be sure not to overwrite your existing OS. I recommend a good back first. Have you tried the game in compatibilty mode? What game?

    Search the MG threads there have been quite a few Q & A on Dual Booting.

    If you want to install second OS,You must first reformat the HD once again ,cos you must install XP FIRST,then Vista Second.Divide your HD in two partitions,and install in this order.

    Goran is correct, I forgot that part. Start with the oldest OS first.

    Another possibility, install Virtual Box or VMPlayer and install XP in there.

    And lastly, does Vista have compatibility mode? If so install the game and get it to run as if it were running in XP.
