Dual booting Win7 + XP

Hi everyone,

I've got an issue with my dual booting. My setup is as follows:

I have 2 harddrives. 1st is 320GB partition into 3 drives and 2nd is 250GB partition into 2 drives (so 5 partitions).

In the 1st partition, I have Windows 7 installed, and second partition is XP. 3rd is free, 4th has Win7 again, and 5th partition is free also.

Win7 was installed first (which resides on the 2nd harddrive), then on the 1st harddrive, I installed xp on 2nd partition, and then finally installed win7 on 1st partition thinking it will pick up the other 2 OSs and will have a nice little menu to choose from. Needless to say, that didn't work. So I downloaded BCD and it recognized all three OSs and did a boot menu for me.

Restarted, and get a menu with 3 entries. entries for Win7 work but for XP do not work.

The million dollar question: how do I fix that? :cool

Thanks for your suggestion, but unfortunately, it doesn't take me anywhere.

The techspot article isn't much of a help, and I get stuck at windowssecrets.com website. Specifically on this step:
bcdedit -set {ntldr} device partition=C:

On this step, I get this error "An error occurred while attempting to reference the specified entry.
The system cannot find the file specified."

And when I select Win XP from the boot menu, I get these messages:
Invalid boot.ini file
Booting from c:\windows\
NTDETECT failed

Don't know what to do now.
