I'm looking to use my monitor as a television. I know i can buy cables that will go from HDMI to DVI, but is there anyway to hookup to DVI connections to the same port on the monitor? Is there a simple cable splitter like a Y connection for dual audio inputs? Is there a switch box i can buy? Help!

    Thanks,
    Gimp

    hmmm... perhaps

It would be to switch between my home entertainment system and my pc.

If I am understanding you right, you want to use a monitor for your computer display, hit a switch and use it for your TV? If so, the KVM should work, you will only be using the M part of the KVM.

There may be a cheaper way to do it though. My TV is a 19" with rabbit ears, so I am a bit behind in the home entertainment area.

Lol @ rabbit ears. I'm pretty sure the KVM switch would work, but I'm looking for a cheaper solution.
