Dual layer DVD burner help needed

    I have the NEC 1210A dual layer DVD burner. It doesn't see the media when I put a blank dual layer DVD+R into it. It's supposed to be multi format, am I missing something ?

    Please excuse me, I meant to type NEC 2510A Double layer burner.

    It could be as simple as the media being incompatible with the hardware. I have the same problemas you - my Freecom ect wont recognise my Traxdata D/L discs, it turns out that Ritek, who actually make the discs, are shit, and are incompatible with a lot of D/L drives.

    Actualy it was simpler than that, I had software that needed upgrading. Burned one good one so far. But at these prices for media, I hope to get no coasters!
