dual operating system question

my pc has two 40 gig hard drives. the master is used for winxp and the slave is now empty. i wanted to install win 98 on the slave drive so i can use the dos system because my wife has dos programs that wont run with winxp.

my question is how do i install win98 to my slave drive without removing winxp?

i did search but could not find an answer to this question.

Note: You must have a second hard disk or partition formatted for FAT16/32 in order to be able to install Windows 98/Me.

 

Or you could try simple things first like Compatibility Mode in XP, or DOSBOX.
