    Hi guys

I have two laptops in front of me now, both giving me the same problems. Initially, both could not login into Windows. On logging in, Windows logs out immediately.

I took out the harddisks from both laptops to do a virus scan and disk check. Ended up with no errors and viruses. So I tried repairing Windows. But when the screen comes to the part where it says (Loading windows... or something like that), a BSOD appears.

I changed the RAMs and HDDs to new sets and they still give me the same BSOD. Can anyone help me?:cry

    Thanks

To addon, I tried removing the keyboard to use an external USB keyboard, hoping that it would be the cause. Result is still the same.

I don't understand why you're moving your hardware about when obviously you have a software error? You should try chkdsk. Are you running XP or Vista? Can you get in via safe mode? What programs have you used for malware scannings?

I did mention I already did checkdisk on both HDDs. Both are on XP. I cannot get into Safe mode. Malware and virus scannings I've tried using Hiren, Avira Rescue disc, and taking out the HDDs to scan on another computer. No results.

    Malwarebytes
    Combofix
    Avast Antivirus
    Avira Rescue Disc
    Mcafee in Hiren 9.7

I will try the chkdisk method out. Thanks

I followed the instructions to boot up from the XP cd. But before the screen even changes to the instructions screen, BSOD shows up, like I mentioned earlier. Any other ways to fix the problem?

The BSOD comes up even before the Press Enter screen.

What happens if you tab F12 as soon as the PC starts up? On some PCs that will materialize a menu...
