   i was wondering if there is software that lets me to preset games to the cpu core it is to execute on, or atleast something that helps to optimize the games.

   Alt-tab. Go to task manager, processes. Locate the game, right click, choose affinity.
   
   You can choose the core. There are other automaters out there, but this is easy to do, as well.
