duel boot system

can i revert to xp pro only i have 98 on c: drive and xp on d:
i whant to transfer xp onto c: loseing 98 and d: drive just for storage
c: is onthe master setting and d: slave
c: is the fasted disk .any ideas without having to reinstall please

How have you set up your system ie do you have 2 HDDs and have 98 on the first and XP on the second or do you have 1 HDD with 98 on one partition and XP on an other.

For partition work I use Partition Magic, there are other progs that do the same thing. I would in the first instance suggest that you get it (or something like it).

In essense PM would allow you to delete, resize, move & copy partitions be they either primary or extended/logical.

I am not sure how to go about doing what you are after by any other method but perhaps some more informed user could help in that area.
