Duplicates Files on Hard Drives

    I am looking for imformation on "Duplicates Files". How you can find out what you can or cann't delite. How you can run your computer and not get or make any duplicates and any other imformation on duplicates Files.
    Thank You for helping me run a cleaner and faster computer. And Nighthawk (My Computer) thanks You. :)

    The simple rule is, if you are not completely sure, then don't delete it.

    A lot of programs will install identical files, especially dll's, into more than one location.

    That is by design and removing any will break the program.

    The safest way is to use something like CCleaner and RegSeeker, as well as uninstalling any unused programs in Add/Remove.

    Then regularly carry out regular scandisk or CHKDSK and a defrag.
