DVD "BACK UPS"

hey- i recently posted here about my dvd burner, i got it fixed i think, but now, something else isnt working. dvd shrink freezes when ever i use it, and x copt plat. wont work either. what are some really good rippers, all i need them to do is get file on my cpu...

Try going to afterdawn.com and reading some of the articles. I believe they also have a DVD Shrink forum. At any rate, the site is full of information for anyone wanting to backup DVD's and the software to use.

 

dvd43.com ---------- overrides copy-protection mechanisms found on dvds

dvddecrypter ------------- best dvd ripper out there. they even have a support forum to help any one that has never burned and ripped dvds. they even have guides on the site to burn ps2 games for modded ps2s, dual layer dvd guides, etc etc


dvdshrink--------this program goes best with dvddecrypter. it helps shrink it down so it can fit on the dvd. with this program you can remove unwanted subtitles or other language from your dvd, edit out scenes, etc, etc

With these 3 programs your pretty much set on dvds.

 

you are right . oh yeah free .dvd43 is and dvd shrink is great.

 

dvd decrypter is the best freeware tool for ripping. Never tried dvd shrink, but nero recode does the job too.
Best purchase software is slysoft AnyDVD & Clone DVD - used together are the fastest / best I have seen.
