dvd burner does not work

    I have a lite on dvdrs shm 165p6s and in the properties, the type is listed as a cd drive. When I try using it, it keeps telling me to insert a blank disc, even if I have a blank disc in it. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. I tried unplugging the dvd drive and plugging it back in, with no luck.

    Any ideas on what is going on?:cry
