My burner isn't working anymore. It reads my burnt movies and plays CD's. But won't read movies I put in. I tried the system restore and it work for a bit, but now it's back to the same, "No disc". Even when I tried to do another system restore now I get nothing.

Anyone have any ideas? Or links I can read. Did a search on the forum here, tried a couple things but nothing happened.

    Thanks

Are you saying it will not read "store bought" movies? rentals, etc?
Try looking for a firmware updated to the drive... google the manufacture, model & add the word firmware.. it might help.
Try ISO buster and see if it reads with that..

Yes it wasn't reading new movies or rentals. But I took it back, as it was only 4 months old, and got it replaced with a new one and we are back up and running. Thanks for the suggestion.
