dvd burner will not start burn

hello all .. i'm not sure what the deal is but some how somewhere my dvd burner just will not start the burn process ... so i have attach the file log of the burn process that didnt burn so maybe some1 can help me with this ..

It appears that you're using Nero Recode. Have you tried just burning something using Nero Express or Nero BurningROM? Does that error out too? I just spent some time poking around the Nero web site, and it's worthless for troubleshooting. They have a community that I thought would have forums and whatnot, NOPE. Just a bunch of people chatting and uploading photos and videos that they've created with Nero. Big whoop. There is a bunch of manuals and how-to guides at the Nero site that might be helpful to you, so check it out if it sounds promising. Anyway, try doing something else with Nero besides using Recode, or try burning a similar project using a completely different (non-Nero) application and see how that goes. I hope some of this helps a little bit. I'm no expert at reading Nero burn logs, but it appears that everything is OK until PM#23 or towards the end of PM#22. Hopefully someone versed in Nero log files will come along, or maybe try posting in a Nero forum at www.afterdawn.com or try one of the other video sites like the VideoHelp forums http://forum.videohelp.com/ or the Doom9 forums http://forum.doom9.org/

thanks a lot ... it seems to happen even if i use my convertXtoDVD.. it will not burn that either .. it was working to long ago .. and some reason i can't even go back to my system restore .. all old date would not restore (not sure why) but i will give ur method a try any help is always good help 1 way or another so thank u for even taking the time to reply

 

hey i just wanted to let every 1 know i found out how to fix the problem just incase some 1 reads this post and they to have the same issue as i had below is how to fix the problem

1. Go to Start, Run
2. Type in: regedit then click OK
3. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
4. Look in right pane and find the Upper Filter and Lower Filter entries.
5. Right click on each and select Delete.
6. Close regedit and reboot
