dvd burning issues

A.- Ok I like to burn some home movie of mine from christmas to dvd. But I have converted it all to dvd format and I use nero to burn it but it will only work in mine and 1 of my sis's dvd players.. But when I burn it using Dvd-Cloner 5 it works fine in all but 1 of my sisters dvd player... Is there any way to fix this??

B.- What would also be a good dvd authoring software.. I am using ConvertxtoDvd at the moment but just wondering if there is a better higher quality one that will do the job..

This will convert just about any media file into standard DVD format for playback in your home player. I have had a 100% success rate with DVD Flick: never a bad burn, and they all have played perfectly in every player I've used them in. You may want to look at the blank DVD's you're using. DVD-R discs tend to be more 'compatible' than DVD+R discs, and some brands are just better than others. Generally speaking, the brand names (like Maxell or TDK or Sony) are better than the el-cheepo no name brands.... even though I've burned plenty of movies on el-cheepo blanks without any problems

Thx For the reply.. I thought it may have been the blanks I am using but I avoided looking at that aspect since they work most of the time...

I am using LG dvd-r hopefully it is just the program if not I will change blanks..

I will give DVD Flick a go if and will be sure to let u know how it goes.

Ok no luck at all with Dvd-Flick. It will not work in my dvd player which has never happened before and i tried it twice following the guide step-by-step.

Any other suggestions.?
