There's a couple different apps: Fianl Burner will convert the file and burn it for you; SUPER will convert the file but does't burn. FB is in the Back Up section, and SUPER is in the MultiMedia section.

A DVD will hold 4.5 Gigs. At 688mb you are well under the limit and have no need to shrink the file. What format is your file saved as?

You might be getting the 700mb limit for CD confused with the limit for DVD. ;)

If you have Nero, you can use NeroVision to convert and burn, and there's also DVD Flick which will convert and burn too. I thought of these after my first post; should have posted 'em there but it was 8:30am and I was barely awake ;)
Check out www.afterdawn.com and www.videohelp.com for TONS of info relating to the burning and converting of various formats.... VERY helpful guides, software, and forums and they only require free registration similar to Major Geeks.
