Dvd burning problem

    I have a Pentium III 868 mhz, 368 MB of ram, 74.5 GB, and 62.5 GB free space. I have a LG Multi Dvd Writer. I am trying to burn a dvd movie. When I put in after it says it's burned successfully it says it is the wrong format. I am using shrink dvd and Nero 6 to burn.. It will only take DVD+R and before it would take DVD-R . I don't know what happened??? Help!!!!
