What is the best DVD burning software? Free and Pay versions?

The free ImgBurn is often recommended on MG.

Nero is very capable, but is expensive and is an absolute monster - 1.3GB on my system, three times the size of that other monster Office 2007!

It depends what you wish to burn.
ImgBurn is great for .ISOs but not good for data DVDs. ImgBurn will close the DVD so you can't add more data to the DVD. Since I don't want to collect data until I have close to 4.7GB to burn, I don't use it for that.
