DVD/CD Rom Driver missing

    Hi,

    I have a problem with my DVD/CD drivers, one file is missing so my DVD/CD is not working.

    Missing file DLACBHM.sys fron Sonic Solution DLA
    Laptop : Dell Inspiron 1501
    OS: Vista 32 bit Home basic

    Plz help!!!

    Hi

    Do you have any Roxio software installed, as Roxio and Sonic are same company if so what version software and have you tried to update it?

    As this was a problem back in 2007 for the then version of Roxio that seemed to have one of its drivers not compatible with Vista, should have been by now fixed with an update of your verison of Roxio (unless an old one).


    Outside chance you could try this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314060 but if you have Roxio or Sonic burning application installed you may need to re-install.
