DVD Copying Software?

Hi there, hopefully someone could help me with this. I have a DVD Burner in my PC, and I used to burn DVDs using DVD XCopy. However, my HD crashed and when i reloaded that program it asks for an activation code, and I didn't have mine from the past. And when I tried to get a new one it wouldn't let me since that software is no longer supported. Does anyone know a way around this? If not, I'd like to find a free DVD copying program. Anyone know of any that they really like? Any help would be appreciated!

 

Dude, you're in luck. The BEST DVD copying software is free. Personally, I use DVDDecrypter to rip, and DVDShrink to compress to single layer size, if necessary. I then use DVDDecrypter to burn the compressed image.

I've used this method to this date with immense success. However, netither of these apps are updated any longer, so they may not work to rip some newer movie. DVDFabDecrypter is apparently an amazing ripping program, but I've never used it.

DVD Shrink - http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4020 to compress or reauthor the DVD to fit a 4.7 GB DVD (this is not necessary if you have a dual layer DVD burner) and save it as an .iso file.
