Dvd Creator Software.

Hello,

I enjoy creating DVDs (mostly because they are American shows I can't get on DVD here) and I was wondering if anybody had some free and good software to use.
At the moment I've been using Freemake which was really great and so much better than DVDFlick which i was using before but would take hours but I dont know if its my discs or the programme but I'm on my fifth disc and they still arent working. Freemake burns it all etc. but then neither my laptop drive or my DVD player recognise anything on them.

I just bought some more blank discs and I really dont want them to go to waste! So would really appreciate some recommendations!

 

What Freemake program are you using to burn DVDs?
Could you provide a link?

 

I've been using Freemake Video Converter, direct download from Freemake.com

 

You need to look at what format you are converting to prior to burning the DVD.

That's the way I've always done it, I'm not doing anything differently.

Unfortunately I haven't used it in years.
But I have both WinX DVD Ripper Platinum & HD Video Converter Deluxe - and they are excellent.

Also, every few months they give away free copies of their commercial software. That's how I got the 2 mentioned in my previous post.

Keep in mind, these 'giveaways' from Digiarty must be installed prior to a certain date. You can't install or re-install the programs after that date. It's not realy an issue because 3-4 months down the line, they'l give away another copy!
