Dvd Decrypter info

Hi,

I am trying to copy a film using laptop, however I have not got enough room for the temp folder and thought I could maybe use my exernal hard drive. The thing is when I try to browse to the external drive (after saving film ) the files do not show up in the Dvd Decrypter, they are on the external drive but not there to copy, am I missing something??

Also I seem to have a problem copying to my DVD - R disks, do the disks have to match the film?
