DVD-Drive Help

    alright i have dvd drive.. and just a dvd drive.. nothing esle.. but when i try to play a CD.. like my CD to my router or the CD to my mouse for the drivers they dont work.. i tried going to the drive and when i click it.. nothing is in there.. i have no clue what to do.. any help please?
