DVD Drive Issue

After I use my DVD Drive to burn a DVD or something or if my computer has been on for a while my DVD Drive stops working. Like it won't open, programs don't detect it, its like its not even there anymore. Its a LiteOn 12X DVD+-R/+-RW Drive Dual Format DVD Writer. Once I restart my computer the drive is working again. But if I leave my computer on overnight or even burn a DVD it stops working and seem to like not even exist. I also have a Nero Burning issue which I believe is tied to this DVD drive failing to work in the middle of a burning process.

 

First try to reinstall drivers. The next step is cleaning the heads inside your driver.
