dvd drive

    i am a newbee, i bought a computer and unknowingly bought one w/ just a dvd/cdrw rom. i am ready to purchase a dvd drive that will allow me to watch and burn dvd's. any recomendations on what i should by ?

    i have bought most of my dvd-r-rw/ol from
    Mad Dog Multimedia and have had zero problems w/ backing up stuff and you cant beat the price(i paid 70 bucks) came w/ pinacle suite AND a oem copy of nero 6 so i think i got a good deal

    If you are a newbee it would be difficult for you to install an internal drive and would probably have to have someone install it. So i would recommend getting an external one. Only downside is they are a bit more expensive.
