    I created a srt file in the correct form but when I tried the subtitles on DVD Flick I got the error message "the subtitle file is corrupt or is unsupported by DVD Flick" Any idea what the problem is?

    I used notepad and used the format below:
    1
    00:00:00,000
    subtitle

    2
    etc

    I saved it as a .srt file

    Whoops, I forgot above to put in the end time, but I had done so in my file which got the error. And I followed the instructions at the web address you gave.
    1
    00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:00,000
    subtitle

    2
    etc.

    All I can suggest is to contact DVD Flick.

    I solved my problem. The beginning time of the next subtitle has to be the same as the ending time of the previous one. To have a period of time with no subtitle, you have to have a subtitle section between them and have to type spaces where you would put the subtitle.. For example:
