DVD non recorder

    Hey all.. Ok this may be a stupid Q but, although my laptop (Dell Inspiron 1100/ Version 2002) does not have a DVD recorder, only CD, but does play DVD movies. Is there such a sofware etc I can download... a way for me to record dvd to dvd and/or Rip.

    Greetings, 'Sicilian Stallion'...

    There are many good DVD recording/ripping programs available, many of them free, but without the proper hardware onboard, you're not going to be able to utilize them...

    My advice: go to a reputable computer outlet (Best Buy, et al) and grab a good burner - they're not expensive now, and are usually a snap to install...
